The Old Telephone Works

Converted into living spaces during the 1990s (that’s so last century) the old telephone works’ combines amazing proportions with a dream location right in the heart of Portobello Road. We were lucky enough to help transform a first floor apartment of epic proportions. 

The brief was to completely refresh the apartment, which had been rented out and virtually untouched for 20 years. And, with the property going back on the rental market after completion, considerable focus was placed both on keeping the budget low and the style high.

With our clients being Brooklyn based, emphasis was placed on clear communication and trust. Despite the clients being a few 1000 miles away for most of the project we helped them bring to life a design that was uniquely theirs.
